According to a press release from the University of Colorado at Boulder starting this fall “students can earn both a Master of Engineering (ME) degree and a Professional Certificate in Renewable and Sustainable Energy or a Professional Certificate in Water Engineering and Management.”
Three partners are committed to this program to make it a success -- CU-Boulder’s Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute and Water Engineering and Management program.
Because of the strong link between energy and water in the field, it makes sense that expanded degree choices have been developed around their connection. AWWA also has a great support system in place and a lot of useful tools for students and young professionals looking to advance their educations and careers in the water industry.
