Starting in less than two weeks’ time it will be Engineers Week. February 16-22 marks this weeklong celebration that honors the importance of engineers. Engineers play a critical role in delivering safe and reliable drinking water to homes and businesses. They design, maintain and monitor water systems and also help to ensure they meet regulatory requirements. Because of everyone’s close connection to water, we all should be appreciative to the detailed work they contribute to.

As is noted on the Engineers Week webpage, Engineers Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate how engineers make a difference in our world, increase public dialogue about the need for engineers and bring engineering to life for kids, educators and parents. We couldn’t agree more and that’s why we’ll be celebrating Engineers Week!
