Three different AWWA sections have recently announced their regional taste test winners. Those recent winners are from the Iowa Section, the Intermountain Section and the Atlantic Canada Section.

The Iowa Section announced that water from Newton has won this year’s regional taste test at their annual conference.

The Intermountain Section announced that the Central Utah Water Conservancy District in the small town of Vineyard has won this year’s regional test taste at their section conference.

And last but not least, the Atlantic Canada Section declared at its joint annual conference that JD Kline Water Treatment Plant in Halifax is their winner.

Congrats to all the winners! These three will now have the opportunity to compete in the “Best of the Best” Tap Water Taste Test at AWWA’s annual conference in June in Anaheim.
