We recently wrote about a structure that turns atmospheric water vapor into safe water, now we are writing about a system that can take moisture in the air and make drinking water out of it. According to CNN International, “Water-Gen has developed an Atmospheric Water-Generation Units using its "GENius" heat exchanger to chill air and condense water vapor.” This unit can make between 65 and 210 gallons of water a day!
This is how it works simply – air enters into the system where the water is taken out it. This water is then filtered and is stored in a tank inside the system. This unit is considered energy efficient “by using the cooled air created by the unit to chill incoming air.”
