Volcanic water is now a thing

posted on

Started in 2012, the Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water company gets their volcanic water from snow and rain on an active volcano in Hawaii. According to a Forbes article, “After passing through 14,000 feet of volcanic rock, the water becomes rich in minerals like magnesium, potassium, and calcium, which are all good for your skin, hair, bones and nails.”

The water is supposed to be full of electrolytes and alkaline, which can help balance the body’s pH levels.

While volcanic water is an interesting concept, remember, we have great water that comes right from our tap too!
