Whichever outcome you hoped for in yesterday's election, we can probably all agree that it would be nice to take a breather from politics and focus on something happy.

So, with that in mind, we found this charming story about a cat in northern Colorado who apparently found his way to the top of a local water tower. After a couple of lonely days, the local fire crew rescued him last week. He's since seen the vet and (we hope) is on his way to finging a new family to love.

The water tower is no longer in service, so technically this story doesn't have anything to do with water, but we hope it brings a you a smile. Happy Wednesday everybody!
