ABC News reports on a “designer water” brand called Beverly Hills 9OH2O that bottles mountain spring water from California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains and adds natural minerals to it. This bottled water costs up to $6 for a bottle. According to ABC News, “Beverly Hills 9OH2O is only made in batches of 10,000 bottles to preserve quality, much like how fine wines are made, and its blue bottles include UV protection.”
Beverly Hills 9OH2O is the brainchild of Martin Riese, who is the only expert water sommelier in the country. He has been featured in the news before for his water tasting classes and water menus at high-end restaurants in the Los Angeles area.
