Drinking Water Week national artwork contest winner

Drinking Water Week national artwork contest winner

This year's Drinking Water Week national artwork contest winner is Jackson Lee from Durham, North Carolina.

Jackson's artwork is featured in this year's Drinking Water Week ads, in both the English and Spanish ads. His artwork illustrated this year's theme of "Protect the Source", which focuses on encouraging everyone to get to know their local water sources so they can be protected and preserved for future generations.

Jackson's local utility, the City of Durham's Department of Water Management, submitted his artwork to be considered in the national contest because he was a winner in its local artwork contest.

Check out those ads and the other Drinking Water Week materials to celebrate this important week. Details are also provided on how to be a part of next year's artwork contest.
