Life without water would be a drain

posted on

We're enjoying all the unique and creative ways individuals, water utilities, government entities, water organizations, schools and other interested ones are celebrating Drinking Water Week!

In honor of Drinking Water Week, the City of Bloomington in Minnesota created a great video about our daily need for safe and usable water for drinking, recreation and safety. As the video highlights, our lives would be drastically different if we didn't have access to tap water. No turning on the tap to a flow of fresh water, no pools to enjoy swimming, and our protection against fires would be threatened.

Drinking Water Week is certainly the right time to reflect on how appreciative we should be of our water service and the water utility workers who keep that water flowing.
