Don't flush "flushable" wipes

Did you know you're not supposed to flush "flushable" wipes down the toilet? Yes, even though they are marketed as flushable, you're not supposed to flush them. Those wipes don't break down properly when they go down the toilet, so they clog wastewater systems. That costs money for wastewater treatment facilities to take care of the clogs.

Halifax Water in Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) put together a great PSA about this very subject. Check out that video below.
