March 16-22 marks this year’s Fix a Leak Week. Promoted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s WaterSense program, this week focuses on helping consumers be aware of leaks in plumbing fixtures and irrigation system in the home. Why is this important? According to the Fix a Leak Week website, “Household leaks can waste more than 1 trillion gallons of water annually nationwide.”
