Tomorrow, September 15, marks the second annual “Imagine a Day Without Water”. This is an outreach campaign by the Value of Water Coalition, which AWWA is a founding member of.

The idea behind this day is to bring awareness to how much all of us rely on our water supply. Even though we rely on water so much, it's often taken for granted!

Even though water can be accessible for us in North America, it's important to know that the infrastructure that distributes and treats water is aging. Water pipes in some North American cities are more than 100 years old! The need to invest in replacing this infrastructure is important.
