As much of the United States braces for frigid temperatures this week, we thought we’d post some reminders that humans aren’t the only ones that need to be bundled up.

A U.S. space mission that launched Dec. 15 will map the Earth’s water and collect data to help manage climate change. The mission will “conduct a comprehensive survey of the world’s oceans, lakes and rivers for the first time.”

While it is well documented that we should all drink plenty of water, it gets a little murky when determining how much.
